Daily life with Episeras
Integrating Episeras into your routine is designed to be simple. A few small, consistent habits keep your earpiece comfortable, charged and capturing the signals it needs — so it can quietly work in the background of your day.

Wearing Episeras, day to day
Five things to keep in mind as Episeras becomes part of your everyday routine.
Comfort
If you experience any discomfort, contact the Patient Support. Your ear mold may simply need a small adjustment for a better fit.
Water activities
Remove Episeras before showering, bathing or any activity where it may come into direct contact with water — the device should not be exposed to liquids.
Battery
Charge your earpiece daily, typically overnight, so Episeras is ready for the next day. You can check the battery level at any time in the app.
Phone proximity
Keep your smartphone within Bluetooth range — usually a few meters — to ensure data transmission. Real-time prediction works offline; weekly internet access keeps your cloud records in sync.
Wearing
Put the earpiece in at the start of your day and make sure it fits snugly for the best signal quality. Do not wear it while sleeping — remove it and turn the device off in the app before bed.
Using your device
Keeping Episeras at its best
Two short walkthroughs for cleaning and caring for your device, day to day.
Tips for success: your habits make the difference
The algorithm behind Episeras is based on identifying the period preceding a clinical seizure, where brain electrical activity is different. A few consistent habits give it the data it needs to get this right for you.
Signal capture
Daily use gives Episeras the data it needs to understand your unique brain signals.
Charging
Make it a nightly habit. A charged earpiece will function properly throughout the day.
Logging
Every time you log a seizure — alerted or not — you are helping to improve the algorithm.
Sharing
Bring your app data to your neurology visits. It provides a more accurate, objective record of your seizures than memory alone.
Trusting
The training phase takes patience, but it is building something personal to you. The wait is worth it.
